On 4/17/2025, we picked up our first 9 baby chickens from our sons school classroom. All nine chickens had previously hatched in their classroom as part of their project. We brought our chicken box filled with wood chips, loaded up the first 9 baby chickens, and brought them home.
When we picked up the chicks, some of the children were a little upset to see the chickens were being picked up. That’s when we decided we should build a website or blog to allow them to keep up to date with their fluffy little chickens.

We got our chicken box, organic chick feed, a watering bowl, a feeding bowl and a heat lamp.
