In early may we finalized our chicken coop design, choose the perfect spot in our backyard and started building our first chicken coop. We designed our coop by using Google SketchUp and we will be posting our design as a downloadable SketchUp and PDF file in a future update. We’ve been busy buying wood, screws and other supplies at our local Lowes. Here you can see the beginning stages of our chicken coop being built.
